Jeremy Moen

Biography

Jeremy is the Senior Vice President of Arch Insurance Group’s Executive Assurance, Healthcare and Warranty and Lenders Solutions Claims Departments. In this role, Jeremy leads teams in evaluating over 80,000 claims per year across a variety of policies and product lines. Prior to joining Arch in October 2009, Jeremy was a partner at a law firm in Chicago. For nine years, he represented domestic and international insurers in connection with coverage disputes and provided technical claims assistance regarding a variety of professional liability policies. Jeremy’s practice focused on protecting insurers’ interests in commercial litigation including securities class actions, derivative litigation, class action FLSA litigation, employment cases, class action ERISA litigation, insurance company E&O cases, and lawsuits alleging legal, accounting, and medical malpractice. He also advised insurers on underwriting issues and new product development. While in private practice, he also represented insurers in connection with a variety of reinsurance disputes. Jeremy received his Juris Doctor with Honors in 2000 from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. Jeremy was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2000. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1997 with Distinction. Jeremy is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
