Brian Kelly

Biography

Brian Kelly holds the position of U.S. Reinsurance P&C Claims Manager. He is based out of Swiss Re America's Armonk office. In this function, he leads the Globals and National client segments claim team. He began his career with Liberty Mutual in 1985. He handled all lines of business as an adjuster and managed a branch office team of adjusters. At Liberty's home office, he was responsible for divisions of branch offices and provided special service for large national accounts as an examiner. Brian also managed a portfolio of ceded reinsurance as a home office Chief Examiner. Upon joining Swiss Re in 2005, Brian managed a portfolio of 17 Regional segment clients. Other activities include leadership roles on global and regional committees; speaking at industry conferences and authoring white papers. Brian graduated from Niagara University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Professional designations include CPCU, ARe and AIC.
