John Jablonski

Biography

John J Jablonski is the Managing Partner of the firm Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP – a startup law firm providing alternative pricing and innovative use of technology. He chairs the firm’s Cyber, Technology and Information Governance Practice Group. He has over 25 years of experience advising clients on enterprise-wide initiatives involving data privacy and security, information governance, IT governance, litigation readiness, privacy and security of enterprise technology, applications and cloud-based systems (including click-wrap and browse-wrap agreements, terms and conditions, master services, service level, software licensing agreements and website privacy statements), negotiating complex technology contracts, matter management software, enterprise-wide electronic evidence preservation, litigation managements and electronic case management and document management solutions and e-discovery. John also concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation, environmental claims and transportation related litigation. Mr. Jablonski has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts and has successfully briefed and argued appeals. He is a frequent presenter and author on electronic discovery, electronic evidence investigation and preservation, best practices for corporate legal hold guidelines, implementation of legal holds and corporate governance. Mr. Jablonski graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and is admitted to the New York State Bar Association. He also is admitted to the U.S. District courts for the Western, Northern and Eastern districts of New York; as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. Mr. Jablonski is a member of ISACA, ARMA, DRI and the NARTC; the American and New York State bar associations. He has presented to DRI, ARMA, the NARTC, the Association of American Railroads and other national audiences. Mr. Jablonski is the co-author of the book “7 Reasonable Steps for Legal Holds of ESI and Other Documents" (ARMA 2023)
