Biography

With nearly 30 years claims experience, Frank McLaughlin joined ORCIG in 2018 as National Liability Quality Assurance Manager and later assumed the role of National Property Claims Manager.  Prior to joining ORCIG, Frank was a Managing Director at Everest Reinsurance where he led a team of attorney and senior level claim professionals responsible for an interenational portfolio of treaty and facultative claims.  From 2004-2014, Mr. McLaughlin was Senior Vice President and Chief Claims Officer of Generali US Branch with a primary focus on multi-national product liability claims and large property exposures.  Prior to joining Generali, Mr. McLaughlin was employed at Riverstone Claims Resources, in Manchester, New Hampshire where he helped establish the largest construction defect run-off program in the nation and later managed a team of complex latent claims handlers in the area of emerging mass torts.  Mr. McLaughlin's background includes primary, excess and reinsurance claims operations with domestic and international insurers, and he has managed nearly every variety of commerical claim.  Mr. Mclaughlin has extensive audit experience and has led numerous audit teams, both in the United States and in Europe. Frank is a graduate of Providence College and Rutgers University Law School - Newark where he served on the Law Review as Book Review Editor.  In adddition to his law degree, Frank has attained the CPCU and ARM designations.
