Joseph John Monteleone

Biography

Joseph Monteleone has extensive experience supervising front line claim operations for several insurance companies including Royal & Sun Alliance, Capital City Insurance and QBE North America  He has extensive experience building Managed Care and Cost Containment Solution programs that reduce overall cost for the client, company and reinsurer. Before joining QBE North America, Joseph served as President of Southeastern Claims Services and prior to that as Senior Vice President for Casualty and Workers Compensation Claims for RSA.  As a Senior Executive, Joseph was responsible for reserve management of more than $2.5 billions in Workers Compensation both active and discontinued businesses. Joseph has also served on the RSA’s claim committee to manage the privatization of New South Wales, Australia. He also served on the Australian Workers Compensation practice team as well as RSA’s worldwide HealthCare Practice team. Finally, he served as a consultant to RSA’s UK operation on the development of medical case management nursing program for automobile and employer liability programs. Joseph began his career as a claim trainee and has held various claim positions in both commercial and personal. He has 35 years of insurance experience
