Biography

Matthew R. Rosek is a Partner at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC.  Admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2004.  He is also admitted to practice in Minnesota, the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.  Matt attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (B.A., cum laude, 2000) and law school at Marquette University Law School (J.D., 2004).  Matt has been an adjunct lecturer at Carroll University in the Politics and Global Studies Department where he has coached the Carroll University Mock Trial Team and has taught Advanced Business Law.  Currently Matt is an Alderman in the City of Oconomowoc.  He has also served his community as a volunteer firefighter and is a certified Wisconsin State Firefighter and is a member of the Board of Directors of Pantheon Services, a non-profit that provides training and placement for persons with mental and physical disabilities.  A Wisconsin Rising Star for the years 2008-2016 and in 2011 recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of Wisconsin’s top Up and Coming Lawyers.  Matt has been admitted pro hac vice in nearly two dozen states around the country.  Matt is an experienced trial attorney representing clients locally and nationally in complex fire and explosion cases.
