Joseph Mak

Biography

Joe Mak is a Unit Manager for Liability Claims at RiverStone Claims Management LLC.  He is based in San Diego, CA, and leads a team of claim professionals handling a diverse portfolio of claims that includes construction defect, products liability, bodily injury liability claims, professional liability, first party property, long term health care, and pollution liability. 
 
Mr. Mak has 33 years of insurance claims experience, with 20 years at RiverStone.  Mr. Mak serves as a co-dean at CLM Claims College, School of Claims Mediation.  Mr. Mak is a graduate of UC Berkeley, and after serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, he returned to receive his Juris Doctorate.
