Biography
Washington & Jefferson College, B.A., Cum Laude, 1981 University of Pittsburgh School of Law, 1984 Mr. Pelini has been a practicing attorney since 1984, specializing in civil defense litigation with and emphasis in wrongful death, municipal liability, products liability and general liability cases.
Mr. Pelini has tried approximately 165 jury trials to verdict, throughout State and Federal Courts in Ohio and has been a frequent lecturer on a variety of civil liability topics. He has been a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Stark County Bar Association, Columbiana County Bar Association, Mahoning County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, FDCC and, of course, CLM.
Mr. Pelini was a partner in a regional Ohio firm until 1997, when his present firm was established, serving insurers, corporations, companies and individuals in a variety of civil defense litigation.
Mr. Pelini lives in North Canton with his wife and three daughters, when they are home from various colleges. He is an avid golfer, not nearly as good as he would like to be, and also a fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, where his cousin is the head football coach.
