Monica is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and has tried a number of cases to verdict in each of these jurisdictions. Monica spent nine years as a prosecutor, working initially as a Special Prosecutor with the New York City Department of Investigation and then as an Assistant District Attorney, in the Arson and Economic Crimes Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Brooklyn, New York.
Since that time, her practice has been focused in the area of insurance defense, involving property, arson, casualty, fraud and construction litigation. She has been published in a number of insurance industry publications and is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences of PLRB and IASIU in the areas of arson investigation, fraud detection and the adjustment of property claims.
She currently is Of Counsel for the Delaware Valley Chapter of IASIU, is a member of the Philadelphia Loss Conference, and is frequently appointed by the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas to preside over settlement conferences as a Judge pro tempore.
Monica received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Roger Williams University (magna cum laude) and her law degree from the Temple University School of Law. She was born in Kophaza, Hungary, and currently lives in the Philadelphia area with her family.
