Biography

Aaron serves as Senior Vice President in the role of NFP’s North American Construction & Infrastructure Claims Leader. He brings over 25 years of legal, claims management, risk management, and loss control experience to his role. His background allows NFP’s clients to leverage this unique experience to bend the risk curve by focusing on workplace safety, efficiencies, and productivity while reducing costs and claim exposures. His litigation management and claims handling strategies help NFP’s clients to shorten case life cycles in a cost effective and results oriented manner while decreasing litigation costs and increasing program profitability.

Aaron possesses a wealth of experience in managing construction litigation and claims. His expertise is especially distinguished in the realms of claims and risk management, specifically creating strategies to effectively defend construction claims to avoid nuclear verdicts. He provides a unique perspective and enhanced understanding, offering a substantial advantage in navigating claim complexities. Prior to joining NFP, Aaron was Director of Risk Management for Turner Construction Company’s New York region. In this capacity, he oversaw risk management, insurance procurement, claims management, and loss control programs. He previously coordinated critical loss control and risk management initiatives by partnering with insurance carriers and innovative construction technology companies. Formerly a partner at the national law firm Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, he specialized in representing general contractors, trade contractors, owners and developers, in all aspects of New York construction litigation. Aaron's combination of legal acumen and practical industry knowledge uniquely positions him as a leader in the field.

Aaron, who is a frequent lecturer on construction litigation, safety, claims management, and risk management topics, has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Hofstra University, a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law, and a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) designation from the International Risk Management Institute.
