Paul Zimmerman’s practice includes commercial and complex litigation, insurance defense, as well as covenant not to compete, trade secret, and squeeze out claims. He leads the Firm’s Electronic Discovery Practice Group, is a member of the Firm’s Technology Committee, and frequently advises the Firm’s clients regarding litigation hold, electronic discovery, records retention, and related matters. Recent discovery team work includes: product liability matter involving over 200 cases in 7 states and an MDL proceeding; injunctions involving software; and electronic discovery in commercial claims of up to $40,000,000. Paul has tried cases lasting up to three weeks and involving as many as 35 witnesses. He is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 (Electronic Document Retention and Production) and is a Co-Chair of CLM’s eDiscovery and ESI Committee. He has spoken on electronic disovery across Alabama, in Atlanta, and at LegalTechNY.
