Biography
William T. “Bill” Mitchell is a founding partner of Cruser Mitchell. Bill was selected as CLM Outside Panel Lawyer of the Year in 2024. Bill has co-written 2 leading books on claims specifically The Disruptive Lawyer’s Little Black Book of Litigation Management and The Dispruptive Lawyer's Little Black Book of Negotiation. He does a seminar series annually on both books premised on the concept that given 92% of all cases settle (and 1% go to trial), the industry should be hiring/training Dealmakers with the "Right Mindset and Skill Set" to resolve claims. Bill consults nationwide with insurance companies and large corporations on how to enact a metrics‑driven litigation management program leading to the saving of millions of dollars in legal and indemnity fees.
