Guided by some of the brightest minds in the claims industry, the Claims College is divided into seven schools, each focused on a specific audience. The two and half day sessions will be kicked off with a half-day Insurance Industry Primer course that is mandatory for all inaugural students.
, ,Each school is comprised of three levels and successful completion of all levels in a particular school will earn participants a respected and sought after designation, which will become the industry standard for identifying top-notch claims professionals. For individual schools, levels consist of pre-course reading materials, in-class instruction, group projects and an exam. The Claims College is not an industry seminar or conference, this is a true educational experience designed to help educate and grow the claims profession.
,
You may be required to complete pre-work and/or required reading PRIOR to your class. In order to determine whether you have pre-work, you MUST log on to the CLM website using your email address and password to access the School that you are attending.
,
, ?Any additional handouts are posted as reference materials. While the reference handouts may not be required, it is recommended that you read this material in order to enhance your learning experience. Unless specifically noted, printing of the reading materials is not required.
The Chancellors establish the overall strategic direction of the Claims College, establishing new schools as needed and appointing members to the Executive Councils.
