2014 Claims College
2014 School of Insurance Fraud
Insurance fraud is considered to be one of the most costly crimes in the Unites States, and the School of Fraud is designed to inform and educate insurance professionals on how to successfully combat this growing issue. With three levels of instruction, this school is a rigorous and exciting program that will allow participants to enhance, augment, and reinforce their knowledge of the tenets of fraud investigations in the areas of auto, property, 1st Party PIP and MED PAY and Workers Compensation. In addition, participants will learn about current fraud schemes, scams and explore the usage of the vast technological social media. A common thread throughout all three levels is the ethical and compliance considerations that impact the handling of fraud claims.
, SIU departments and claim professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of fraud and/or those who have 3-8 years in SIU are encouraged to attend.
, Upon completion of all three levels, participants will receive the Certified in Fraud Professional designation (CFP).
