2022 School of Professional Lines
Overview
The School of Professional Lines will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of best practices in the handling of Professional Lines claims which can contain subtle nuances requiring in-depth investigation and creative resolution strategies. Our faculty of experienced and accomplished professionals will expose participants to new ways of thinking and new ways of handling Professional Lines claims more efficiently and effectively. Students will also learn how to best deal with the various parties involved in a Professional Lines claim, how to select and monitor counsel and how to effectively plan and execute the resolution of claims. Our faculty will not only provide cutting-edge strategies but will also illustrate them with "real world" scenarios to further strengthen the learning process. Level 1 will cover all aspects of professional lines claims management allowing students to be exposed to a variety of PL claims such as medical, legal and design professional malpractice. Level 2 will address more advanced subjects such as dealing with significant coverage issues, D&O, Cyber, EPL and FI coverages, selecting and working with experts and alternative litigation strategies. Level 3 is geared towards helping the claims professional build leadership skills.
Upon successful completion of all three levels of the School, graduates will earn the Certified Claims Professional (CCP) in Professional Lines designation.
