The School of Claims Mediation provides education, training, and recognition for claims professionals involved in the mediation process. You will gain the tools and knowledge with real-world scenarios from leading industry experts who have seen it all. The curriculum, theories, case scenarios, principles, and test questions were designed to be used on a daily basis – so they have real-world application. The cost of one successful mediation outweighs the cost of attendance

The comprehensive program covers the role of the claims professional in mediation, and how to prepare for mediation versus litigation, as well as other concepts like determining if a claim is a good candidate for early resolution, mediator selection, and how to handle an impasse.  Courses also address the psychological and behavioral issues impacting mediation, ethical considerations for a claims professional while in mediation, and post-mediation concerns for the claims professional.

Upon successful completion of this program, you will earn a Certificate of Completion.

Students who already hold their Certified Claims Professional (CCP) designation and complete this school, plus one additional One-Level School, will earn the Advanced Claims Professional (ACP) designation.
