Cancellation of CLM Annual Conference

Because of many unknown and developing variables and the growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the CLM has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference scheduled for March 18 to 20 in Dallas. We had implemented as many precautions as possible to mitigate the spread of the virus at the conference and minimize the risk to our membership but, given the continued spread around the country and the significant number of cancellations resulting from company travel bans, we feel the best safest course of action is to cancel the conference.

All hotel rooms booked through the CLM will be cancelled.

CLM is such a tremendous community. The welfare of our membership is our top priority. While the majority of cases of COVID-19 have symptoms described as similar to the common cold, at-risk populations are experiencing devastating symptoms and outcomes. We want to protect our membership along with their families, communities, companies and firms.

We are offering full refunds of your registration fee or the option to transfer your registration to another CLM event (with a refund/adjustment for the cost of the other event selected). We will be in touch with sponsors about options to refund or transfer your sponsorship to another CLM event. We will also be in touch with all speakers with options to hold your session at another CLM event or in some other format. We certainly want to preserve all the hard work that has gone into creating the fantastic educational sessions planned for the Annual Conference.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the refunds/transfers and address the educational sessions and sponsorships. We are tremendously appreciative of the strength of the CLM community and thank you for your continued support. Stay tuned for more details on some special webinar offerings we plan to make available next Thursday. Even though we can’t gather in person, we can gather remotely for some great education.
