Biography

Mr. Martinez is a Claims Manager for the Mesa North/East Claims Branch at Auto-Owners Insurance.  He began with Auto-Owners in 2003 and he handled personal & commercial auto, property, garage and general liability claims in two separate Michigan offices.  In 2008, he was promoted to Senior Claims Examiner in Auto-Owners’ Home Office and supervised Commercial General Liability, Construction Defect and Pollution claims for 26 states.  In 2010, he transferred to Mesa, AZ where he became the manager of the North/East claims office. 
Mr. Martinez graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in Computer Information Systems.  He has completed the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success program where he earned the Highest Award for Achievement.  He has earned his Associate in Claims, Associate in Management, Associate in Personal Insurance, Associate in Insurance Services, Associate in General Insurance, Associate in Customer Service and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations through the Insurance Institutes of America.  In addition to being a CLM Fellow, he also is active in the Arizona CPCU Society Chapter and Arizona Insurance Claims Association (AICA), having served on the Executive Board of the AICA as Treasurer for two years.
