Biography

Tom McLaughlin is the Senior Director of Risk Management & Claims for TFI International, in Eagan, MN. TFI International, based in Montreal, Quebec, is the 5th largest transportation provider in North America. Tom oversees TFI’s US based divisions including, Transport America, CFI, and TForce Freight. Responsibilities include overseeing all auto, general liability, workers comp and cargo claims, as well as risk management functions. He is responsible for over 12,000 trucks and 18,000 employees in all the US based divisions. Tom has over 40 years insurance claims experience, with the past 28 concentrated directly on trucking.
