
Marie Croghan, ARM
Biography
Marie brings to CLM over ten years' of workers' compensation claims experience including serving as an Assistant Branch Manager for a third party administrator, developing the workers' compensation program for a self-insured employer, and currently, managing loss portfolio transfer (LPT) accounts as the primary insured, excess carrier, and/or reinsurer. Marie started in workers' compensation in 2012 when she was hired as a Medical-Only Assistant at Gallagher, but work comp quickly proved itself a passion for Marie with her being promoted to an adjuster within six months, only to advance to a Workers' Compensation Supervisor three years later. After overseeing work comp adjusters for five years, Marie was promoted to the Assistant Branch Manager and was charged with leading both work comp and liability adjusters until her departure in 2020. She went on to serve as the Workers' Compensation Coordinator for Pathways Community and Service, LLC, from 2020-2022, and not only created the existing workers' compensation platform, but a metric dashboard for the nationwide company consisting of a staff of 5000+. In July, 2022, Marie was hired by Safety National Casualty Corporation as a LPT Claims Manager, and she continues to perform in this role today. Marie is a graduate of CLM's Workers' Compensation Claims College, earning her Certified Claims Professional (CCP) in 2017, and has since earned her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 2022.
