Biography

Alona Croteau is the Chief Claims Officer at Berkley Management Protection. She has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry as chief claims officer and claims counsel for a number of national/global insurance carriers and brokerage firms Her deep claims and litigation management experience includes areas focused on specialty lines including professional lines, healthcare, financial institutions, public and private D&O, EPL, surety, fidelity, construction and general liability lines of coverage. 

After graduating with a degree in Elementary Education from University of New Orleans, Alona attended the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2005. Alona served as the Managing Print Editor of the Loyola Law Review and a member of the Moot Court staff.
