Biography

Kacy Miller is the founder of CourtroomLogic Consulting, a litigation strategy, communications and jury consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Miller is lead consultant and offers a full range of services to both civil and criminal attorneys working on both large and small scale cases. The CourtroomLogic team becomes a part of the trial team, working side-by-side with counsel to position the client for maximum success.

Ms. Miller's areas of expertise include:

* Theme and story development throughout discovery; * Witness communication training for deposition, arbitration and/or trial testimony * Evaluating cases through jury research (FirstInsight, focus groups and mock trials); * Assessing potential damages through jury research; * Jury selection outlines, techniques and strategies; and * Visual presentations during mediation, arbitration and/or trial; and * Opening Statement and Closing Argument development.

Ms. Miller has been published in The National Law Journal and The Jury Expert. She has also served as a frequent faculty member in trial advocacy seminars, as well as a judge in mock trial competitions. Ms. Miller has been a speaker at national conferences, local bar association meetings, law firm events and other venues to address issues related to juror decision-making and trial advocacy.
