Biography

Chris Casson is the Executive Claims Specialist based in Omaha, Nebraska for Vela Insurance Services, LLC, a member of the W. R. Berkley Corporation. He manages claims from a wide array of Commercial General Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability claims, including construction defect, product liability, general casualty and error & omission claims. Chris has 27 years of claim experience including Commercial General Liability, Construction Defect, Commercial Property and Auto, Personal Property and Auto, Environmental and Professional E & O claims. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and holds the Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institutes of America.
