Biography

Pete Dworjanyn is Assistant General Counsel for the State Fiscal Acountability Authority of South Carolina. The South Carolina Insurance Reserve Fund is a division of that agency, and Pete's focus is on providing counsel to the Insurance Reserve Fund, which operates as an insurer for state agencies, entities and employees. Prior to this position, Pete practices for 21 years at Collins & Lacy, where he was a shareholder and chair of Collins & Lacy's Insurance Coverage Practice Group.  Following law school, Pete served as a law clerk for the Honorable Julius H. Baggett, Eleventh Judicial Circuit and as Assistant Solicitor in the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. He has been named a SuperLawyer in Insurance Coverage, and as a Best Lawyers in America, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
