Biography

Mike Hallock is a Partner in the Chicago office of McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC and President of CLM Chicago. Mike is an accomplished attorney whose practice focuses on products liability, construction, transportation, fire, and explosion litigation. Mike is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Washington, DC, and his cases involve extensive property damage, serious injury and death. Mike represents utilities, manufacturers, national retailers and transportation companies in state and federal courts nationwide.

Prior to joining McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC, Mike practiced at several Chicago firms, United States Attorney’s Office, and the General Counsel’s Office of the United States Department of Transportation. Mike has litigated numerous cases and succeeded in high profile trials. Mike prevailed many times in the Federal Courts of Appeals for briefing and oral argument. Mike co-authored Aviation Regulation in the United States and is the honored recipient of the Deans Award, the Distinguished Public Service Award, the Secretary of Transportation’s Award, and the General Counsel’s Team Award.

Mike lives in Chicago with his wife Dulce Pimentel Pérez. Dulce and Mike enjoy traveling, fishing, and stand-up comedy.
