CLM Launches Defense Counsel Study with Support from Suite 200 Solutions
2024 Initiative Seeks Participation from Insurance Defense Counsel Members

The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) is pleased to announce the launch of a second CLM Defense Counsel Study. This initiative will update findings from CLM’s inaugural 2020 Defense Counsel Study and will survey hundreds of practicing insurance defense counsel to chart emerging trends and challenges. A primary purpose of the Study is to provide data and information that facilitates improved communication and working relationships between defense firms and the insurance executives who retain them.

Since their inception in 2012, CLM studies have become a go-to resource for litigation management executives, defense attorneys, and service and technology providers in our industry. Once again, Suite 200 Solutions has been commissioned by CLM to conduct the study, which will be underwritten by key industry sponsors. Data collection is scheduled to commence in November 2023 and findings will be released in April 2024 at the CLM Annual Conference in San Francisco.

“CLM is dedicated to helping our industry stay educated, informed, and future-ready,” said Ronna Ruppelt, CEO of CLM. “These studies have become a trusted resource for both claims organizations and law firms to identify emerging trends, industry pressures, and successful strategies. I am pleased to announce the launch of this important 2024 study.”

CLM is seeking insurance defense firm attorneys to participate in the study via survey. Data collection will begin in early November. As with all CLM studies, responses are anonymized and all information shared is confidential. To participate in the study, contact Taylor Smith, President, Suite 200 Solutions, at taylor.smith@suite200solutions.com.
