PRESENTATION FORMATS
The Annual Conference is well known and attended because it is highly interactive. Sessions are designed to generate attendee engagement and discussion, so most are roundtable format with open square seating. These sessions are active discussions facilitated by speakers, so there is no AV, PowerPoints, or other visuals. There are a handful of traditional panel presentation slots which support PowerPoint presentations. If your proposal is selected, you will be informed if it will be a roundtable or panel format.

Sessions are 60 minutes each and most have a maximum of 50 attendees.

CE APPROVAL
For CE approval in certain states the session title/topic cannot include negotiations, leadership, DE&I, or future focused content. To facilitate the submission and approval of CE, select content and topics that are directly related to claims management or claims handling practices.

SPEAKER PANELS
Speakers must be a CLM Fellow or Member. Each speaker panel must be comprised of a minimum of two and a maximum of four speakers, with at least one being a CLM Fellow.

We value diversity and hope you do too. We encourage you to assemble a diverse speaker panel that includes differing viewpoints, races, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and personalities.

CLM Service Providers are welcome to participate and must become a sponsor to speak at this event.

SPEAKER BENEFITS
We know you want to present for the glory and applause – but speakers also receive a discount on Annual Conference registration! Fellows receive a $100 discount. Members receive a $200 discount. Please note, we do not make travel arrangements or compensate for travel.

Speakers also have access to the speaker-ready room during the conference which can be used to prepare, rehearse, and refresh.

WANT TO SPEAK BUT DON’T HAVE A PANEL?
Let us know. Email programming@theclm.org with a summary of your background, experience, and topics you can speak on, and we will try to match you with any panels looking for an additional speaker.
