AttireWhat is the attire for the conference?
The attire for the Annual Conference is business casual.
What is the attire for the Welcome Dinner and CLM Madness Dinner?
The attire for the both dinners is casual. Wednesday night’s Welcome Dinner will be at the Minute Maid Park which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. For this, we recommend comfortable shoes.
CE/CLEHow are CE/CLE credits issued?
CLM will report your CE/CLE credits (where applicable). Please make sure all your licenses are entered in your CLM profile. If you have further questions regarding CE/CLE, please email Melissa.Rivera@theclm.org.
Event Changes/CancellationsIf I am unable to attend the conference, will a refund be issued?
All conference registration cancellations must be received in writing via e-mail to James.email@example.com by end of business day February 11, 2018, to qualify for a full refund less a $100 processing charge. Please include the reason for your cancellation. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER FEBRUARY 11, 2018; however, substitutions are permitted until March 07, 2018.
If I am unable to attend the conference, can I send someone in my place?
All conference registration changes must be received in writing via e-mail to James.firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the reason for your change. Substitutions are permitted until March 07, 2018.
Are optional events (dinners, golf, tennis, guest events, and social events) refundable?
Changes and cancellations for optional events must be received in writing via e-mail by end of business day February 22, 2018, to qualify for a full refund. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER FEBRUARY 22, 2018; however, substitutions are permitted until March 07, 2018.

How can I add my guest to dinner?
The cost for each dinner is $100. To add your guest to a dinner, please email Fran.firstname.lastname@example.org.
HotelIs hotel cost included in the registration fee?
The cost of the hotel is NOT included in your registration fee. If you made a hotel reservation through the CLM, a credit card will need to be presented upon check-in.
How do I cancel/change my hotel reservation?
To change or cancel your hotel reservation, please email Mechelle.email@example.com. Cancellations must be completed at least 72 hours in advance of your arrival date. If you neglect to notify us, your credit card will be charged for the reserved room nights.
Will Wi-Fi be available at the conference hotel?
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available in the guest rooms as well as the Conference Center.
Are there parking fees at the Marriott Marquis Hotel?
Self-parking $24 per day in nearby garage located at Rusk and Capitol Streets. Valet parking fee is $38.00 daily.
Where do I check in upon arrival to the conference?
Upon arrival, you must register at the CLM Desk (Houston Foyer, 2nd floor all days except Wednesday March 14th – in lobby). There, you will receive your itinerary and other pertinent information.
MaterialsWhere can I view the conference attendance list?
The attendance list will be posted on the CLM Annual Conference website one month prior to the conference (February 14th). 2018 Annual Conference- Attendees.
Will conference materials be available online?
All conference materials will be available in the CLM Annual Conference App. Some materials, such as the session handouts and schedule are available on the CLM Annual Conference website. 2018 Annual Conference - Handouts.
What electronic devices are compatible with the CLM app?
IPhone, iPad, Kindle Fire and Android phones and tablets.
TransportationIs transportation provided from the local airport to the hotel?
CLM does not provide transportation to/from hotel. Recommendations following:

How far away is the conference hotel from the Airports?
The Marriott Marquis is approximately 9.8 miles NW from William P Hobby Airport (HOU) and 20.2 miles SW from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
