SLIP AND FALL
Description
Slip-and-fall incidents cause thousands of injuries (some fatal) every year, and these incidents are commonly the subject of insurance claims and premises liability litigation. The past 10 years have brought significant advances in the field of reliable walkway slip analysis. This course takes an in-depth look at slip-fall incidents, human subject slip research, new walkway traction testing methodologies, reliability analyses, standards, as well as practical (and impractical) applications of traction testing. A brief review of litigation considerations will also be discussed.
