Joseph P. Campo is the co-CEO of New Jersey based Specialty Claims Management with primary responsibility for the company's offices and operations in Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills, California. He began his career in the insurance industry with Crawford & Company in 1992 and joined Specialty Claims Management in 1998. He holds the insurance industry designation of Associate in Claims and is a graduate of Stony Brook University and Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Campo is a member of the New Jersey State Bar.

Michael Caspino is one of the Founding Partners of Brady, Vorwerck, Ryder & Caspino.  His energy and tenacity has resulted in a solid reputation as an accomplished trial attorney.  He is licensed to practice in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.   

Published appellate opinions include the landmark case of National Union v. Nationwide Insurance Company, 69 Cal. App. 4th 709, which dealt with the extent of indemnity obligations in contracts.  In Olson v. Aztech, 120 Nev. 240, Mr. Caspino argued before the Nevada Supreme Court in the first appeal that dealt with the Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 40 statutory scheme for resolving residential construction defect claims. 

Mr. Caspino's litigation efforts have lead to a number of advantageous settlements on behalf of the firm's clients.  In one matter, he was lead counsel in a construction dispute involving over 6,000 apartment units in Nevada and Florida.  Mr. Caspino litigated and resolved multiple personal injury and property damage claims, throughout the country, related to a legionella outbreak at a Las Vegas timeshare resort.

Recently, Mr. Caspino was quoted in The Wall Street Journal, wherein he commented on legal liability relating to automated external defibrillators.

Current Responsibilities Coordinating claim services for Wells Fargo clients in WesternRegion. Advocacy for services for major clients and coordination on a National basis as needed. Conducting TPA and self insured audits, reviews and evaluations regarding loss sensitive programs and recommending solutions for reducing total cost of risk. Focus on Workers’ Compensation with knowledge of General Liability, Auto and other coverages. Special Areas of Expertise Workers’ Compensation Claims with multiple state experiences. Major focus in California, Nevada and Hawaii.

Public Entity consultant for LAUSD, California Joint Powers Insurance Authority and City/County of Honolulu. Development of large deductible and retro rated programs.

He has been a guest speaker for the California Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he has lectured at the USC School of Business, and for the UCLA Extension School of Business. He has conducted working sessions at several RIMS annual conferences, and local chapters in Los Angles and Honolulu. Prior Industry Experience: Bill Goldstein has over 35 years in the insurance industry. Bill joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services after 18 years working for another national broker. Prior to that he had spent 10 years with Fremont/Pacific Compensation Insurance Company where he was designated Assistant Vice President–Customer Services for the Southern California Region. Prior to this, he spent 11 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company (New York, Oakland and Los Angeles) handling Property & Casualty as well as Workers’ Compensation claims.

Robbie has technical claims and litigation management responsibilities involving construction defect matters.  He has been a practicing California insurance defense and trial attorney for more than 30 years, with in-depth experience in the administration and handling of claims. Immediately prior to his current employment with Arrowpoint/Royal & SunAlliance, Mr. Robinson was managing attorney for the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company Staff Counsel, Southern California offices. Robbie has been involved in construction defect claims and legal defense management in California, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona since the late 1980s. He has presented lectures in California, Colorado and Hawaii on landscaper and landscape architect construction liability through the University of California at Riverside. In addition to the JD degree, Mr. Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State College at San Bernardino.  Mr. Robinson is a member of the California State and Federal Bar Associations. He is also a special master with the California State Bar and member of the Litigation Section of the California State Bar.  He also holds California and Texas claim adjuster licenses.

John has spent over 25 years in the legal, insurance and risk management field.  Starting with a small defense litigation firm, he moved to Liberty Mutual where he’s held various positions in the Commercial Insurance claims operation.  Managing a nationwide Construction Defect and complex claims group, he’s also served in Liberty’s specialty claims group handing excess, MDL, and other litigation worldwide.  Recently he served in Liberty’s litigation management group and is currently in the Strategic Initiatives group overseeing claims and litigation management initiatives.  In addition to his legal and claims background, John has served as a risk advisor and speaker for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and for the past 10 years, he’s served USA Hockey as a risk manager.  A graduate of Chapman University with a BSBA in finance and economics, John also studied at the University of Hong Kong focusing on international law.  He received his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Order of Barristers and active in Phi Delta Phi.  He resides in Orange County, California.

Mr. VonderHaar's practice is concentrated on insurance-related legal issues, and includes loss portfolio transfer triage review, contract drafting, opinion letters, policy limit demand letters, drafting of underwriting and manuscript forms, representation of General Insurance Agencies, representation of health care facilities, insureds and insurance companies in insurance coverage litigation, representation of insurance companies in first and third party extra-contractual litigation, and training of claims department personnel on insurance coverage and Fair Claims Practices Certification.

He has expertise in virtually all aspects of construction risk management, including builders risk, owner controlled insurance programs, contractor controlled insurance programs, and general liability forms currently available in the market place. He also assists national home developers with insurance regulatory issues and insurance captive programs.

Ted Wickenhauser has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Ted joined McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri where he is currently a Corporate Risk Manager and Claim Director.  He oversees the management of all claims against McCarthy and partners with the General Counsel Office, works with brokers, and delivers Risk Management training.  Prior to McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., he was National Vice President and National Claims Manager at MCD Holdings, Inc. / Richmond American Homes Corp (Denver, CO), Director of Excess and Surplus Claims, Manager of System and Support, and General Adjuster at Fireman’s Fund – Interstate National Corporation (Chicago, IL), Technical Claims Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance (Englewood, CO & Schaumburg, IL), and Field Adjuster at Prudential Property & Casualty (Oak Brook, IL).  Mr. Wickenhauser holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in E-Business from DePaul University at Chicago, IL and a B.S. in Business Administration-Finance from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb, IL.
