There are so many benefits and perks of being a CLM member or fellow that it’s sometimes hard to keep track of all the extras. We all know that this and other CLM magazines arrive with no invoice attached, but there are plenty of others you might not have noticed—some of which are right at your fingertips.
For instance, did you know that CLM’s committees combine to produce nearly two dozen, 30-minute webinars every year? These educational events touch upon every topic possible as it relates to insurance, and the not-too-long/not-too-short length means they aren’t time vampires. So far in 2015, more than 7,200 people have registered for at least one webinar. On average, there are 230 people listening in on any given presentation. Miss a live event? Sign in to your CLM account and you can gain access to past presentations in seconds, listening while you lunch.
Another tool that’s worth taking the time to become familiar with is CLM’s job bank. Emphasizing the collaborative nature of our organization, the job bank lets members and fellows post openings in their companies free of charge. At press time, dozens of open positions in many different lines of claims and litigation areas were waiting for just the right person, and applying for them is a snap.
