When Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 storm last week, it had windspeeds that reached 150 mph, tying it for the fourth-strongest hurricane in history to strike the state. The destruction was severe, with many analysts pointing to a minimum of $30 billion in insured losses. Here are some images from the scene.
