Two Membership Benefits Worth Mentioning: Communities and Local Chapters

There are two easy ways to get involved with CLM to share your knowledge and expertise AND learn from others while you collaborate and create new networks.

CLM has a host of subject-related Communities where like-minded insurance professionals and outside counsel can share ideas and work together to write articles, present webinars, and create and present conference sessions. There is a Community for everyone. So, give the Communities list a look and decide which Community or Communities interest you. You can also reach out to the Community Team with any questions.

Another fun way to get involved with CLM on the local level is by attending a local chapter event. Local chapters are spread throughout the country and host both networking and educational events. Visit this map to find your nearest local chapter and this calendar to see which chapters are holding events.

Want to hone your leadership skills? Offer your support to the current chapter leadership. Or check to see if there are openings and join a chapter board. We’d love to include you in this process!

Helpful tip: If you update your physical address on your CLM profile, you will receive email specific to your location—including invites to local chapter events happening near you. To do so: Simply go to MY HOME at theCLM.org and click on MY PROFILE to update your contact information. It’s easy to stay up to date and relevant!
