Mark Your Calendars – Claims College is Just Around the Corner

Join CLM in Austin this Sept. 4-7, to further your knowledge, earn a designation, and enjoy networking with old and new colleagues. Claims College provides the tools for you to excel in your job today and prepare you for growth tomorrow. Upon successful completion of the three levels of your school of choice, you will earn a Certified Claims Professional (CCP) designation; use it to set yourself apart from your peers and demonstrate your claims knowledge. Choose from the following schools: Casualty Claims, Construction, Cyber Claims, Professional Lines, Property Claims, Transportation, and Workers’ Compensation. Registration is open; for more information, click here

Skip Level 1 of Claims College and Start at Level 2

Do you have some claims experience and a strong grasp of the fundamentals? If so, you may be able to skip Level 1 of any three-level school by taking the test-out exam from the comfort of your home. Pass the exam and start your Claims College journey at Level 2. If you don’t pass, that’s OK. We'll apply your testing fee towards tuition for the Level 1 in-person program in Austin. It’s risk free!

The exam is designed to test your current knowledge of the concepts covered in the Level 1 courses, so pre-exam study materials will not be provided. The test-out option is recommended for students with at least five years of claims experience. Test-out registration is open and remains so until May 31; students have until July 3 to complete the exam. Please contact help@theclm.org with any questions.

LMI: A Designation and Up to 24 CE/CLE Credits Too

Join CLM in Chicago June 6-9, for Litigation Management Institute (LMI). This year, CLM returns to the Loyola University Chicago School of Law for its focused executive education experience. LMI bridges the gap between legal theory and litigation strategy balanced with the business aspects of litigation management. Students spend three days on campus interacting with a cohort of no more than 100 classmates all working towards the Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation. Participants often tell us that they found great value in the group interactions and formed ongoing professional relationships with their team.

Registration is now open and is strictly limited to 100 students. For more information and to register, click here.
