Think Locally

Are you aware that you can be involved with CLM on a local level, close to home? No travel or hotel stays necessary when you network locally. Check out theclm.org/localchapters and see if there is an existing local chapter near you. 

CLM has 25 local chapters across the country, with many holding a number of events per year. Some events are educational with networking, and some are strictly networking. For example, both the New York City and Orange County chapters are holding fun networking events in February. See our calendar (theclm.org/event/calendar) for what’s happening around the CLM.  

Want to hone your leadership skills? Offer your support to your local chapter’s leadership or check to see if there are openings and join a chapter board. We’d love to include you in this process! 

Helpful tip: If you update your physical address on your CLM profile, you will receive emails specific to your location, including invites to local chapter events near you. Simply go to MY HOME at theclm.org and click on MY PROFILE to update your contact information. It’s easy to stay up to date and relevant! 

CARYN SIEBERT NAMED 2024 CLM LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD HONOREE 

Caryn Siebert, vice president of carrier practice and director of carrier engagement at Gallagher Bassett, will be honored with the 2024 CLM Lifetime Achievement Award—sponsored by Compex Legal Services, Inc.—during the CLM Annual Conference in San Francisco on April 2-4. Join us to celebrate Siebert’s career accomplishments and commitment to the industry. In addition, keep an eye out for CLM Magazine’s March edition, which will include an interview with Siebert that discusses her career and achievements.
